ECBN
The European Creative Business Network (ECBN) is a unique not for profit foundation, founded in 2011, promoting the interests of the cultural creative industries in Europe. Given the diversity of cultural expressions as well as of cultural and creative markets across Europe, ECBN works – on purposes indirectly and decentralised – by supporting leading agencies, funders and intermediaries on local, regional and/or national level to help them support their cultural and creative entrepreneurs. ECBN is an independent foundation funded by its members fees and in kind contributions. Based upon this it supports the supporters of creative business with the following actions:
RISE - RESEARCH INSTITUTES OF SWEDEN
RISE is Sweden’s research institute and innovation partner. Through our international collaboration programmes with industry, academia and the public sector, we ensure the competitiveness of the Swedish business community on an international level and contribute to a sustainable society. Our 3000 employees engage in and support all types of innovation processes. RISE is an independent, State-owned research institute, which offers unique expertise and over 100 testbeds and demonstration environments for future-proof technologies, products and services.
CITY of Helsingborg, Kulturförvaltningen
The mission of Helsingborg's Cultural Administration is to facilitate and implement the mission of the City's Cultural Committee. Helsingborg's goal is to develop and promote cultural experiences, knowledge and education that contribute to new insights, reflection and a good quality of life. Therefore, culture throughout Helsingborg must be developed to meet residents' needs for cultural experiences, knowledge and education. The goal is to increase participation in cultural life for all Helsingborg citizens. The administration offers various types of support to all actors in the cultural field, both associations and individuals, such as study associations, independent museums, but also young people who want to implement their own cultural projects.
Region of Skåne, Kulturförvaltning
With its 33 municipalities and 1.3 million inhabitants, Skåne is one of Sweden’s three metropolitan regions. At the same time Skåne is part of the transnational Öresund region, the most densly populated area in Scandinavia. In Skåne there is a high quality in cultural life with several institutions and projects that stand out nationally and internationally. The strong diversity in the cultural ecosystem is characteristic for the region.
In this context, Region Skåne acts as a strategic enabler when it comes to creating good conditions for a rich and inclusive cultural life as well as for a vibrant creative sector that both contribute to a socially, economically and environmentally sustainable development.
